Welcome to R & B Rentals. By accessing or using our website and booking a rental vehicle through our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before making a reservation.
1. Eligibility
To rent a vehicle from us, you must:
- Be at at least 21 years old
- Hold a valid driver’s license (recognized in the jurisdiction of rental)
- Present a valid form of identification and a credit or debit card in your name. Cash is also accepted.
2. Rental Agreement
By booking a rental, you enter into a separate **Rental Agreement** at the time of vehicle pickup, which contains the specific terms related to your booking, including vehicle details, rental period, charges, and responsibilities.
3. Booking and Payments
- All bookings are subject to availability and confirmation.
- Full or partial payment may be required at the time of booking, depending on the rental terms.
- We accept bank transfer and cash
- Prices listed on the website are in USD and include/exclude applicable taxes and fees (as stated).
4. Cancellations and Refunds
- No-shows or late cancellations may incur a cancellation fee or forfeit payment.
- Refunds, if any, will be processed within 7 business days OR if paid in cash, on site.
5. Vehicle Use and Restrictions
- The vehicle must not be used:
- For illegal purposes
- By unauthorized drivers
- For off-road driving (unless specified)
- While under the influence of alcohol or drugs
- Renter is responsible for any damage, loss, fines, or penalties incurred during the rental period.
6. Insurance and Liability
- Basic insurance coverage is included/not included in the rental rate.
- The renter is liable for any damage not covered by insurance or caused by prohibited use.
7. Pickup and Return
- Vehicles must be picked up and returned at the agreed time and location.
- Late returns may result in additional charges.
- Vehicles must be returned in the same condition as provided.
8. Maintenance and Breakdowns
- All vehicles are maintained to a high standard. In the event of a mechanical issue, contact us immediately.
- We are not responsible for delays or costs resulting from events beyond our control, including accidents, weather, or road closures.
9. Privacy Policy
Your personal information will be used in accordance with our Privacy Policy, and only for purposes necessary to provide the rental service.
10. Modifications to Terms
We reserve the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice. Changes will be effective upon posting to the website.
11. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the Turks and Caicos Islands. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in the Turks and Caicos Islands.
